Jesus my Lord. I come humbly before the King of Kings with gratitude and expectation. Gratitude for all the blessings all around me – my family – my work – the glory of your creation and an expectation of more and more of You, more of Your wisdom and more of Your grace.
Father You are the arms that hold everything together including me and I do need to be held together. My world is always full and challenging. There are people challenges, money challenges, health challenges and the challenging thinking that I am supposed to handle it all by myself.
Lord, I don’t want to go alone. I want to go WITH You and with a few other men.
Lord draw close. I release everything to you. The messes I have made and those I have been given. Wash over me with Your Love, Your peace, You are sufficient for all.
You say ask and it will be given.
My ask is for closeness to You. My ask is that you change my thinking. My ask is that intimacy with You is irresistible.
Lord, draw me close. I need your closeness.
Thank you for being my intimate Jesus.
